Office Staff
We have a hard working {don't tell them I said that} team of internal staff covering Sales, Purchasing, Accounts and design at our head office at Silverdale Drive, Within the office base we have a meeting room... which is designed as an area which meetings can be held in a comfortable surrounding free from external distractions. There is also a display room showing some of the vast range of products supplied by Nelsons.

Health and Safety
Nelsons as a family business puts a major emphasis on Health and Safety.
All walkways are marked in red with yellow boarders, helmets and high visibility jackets must be worn by all staff and visitors entering the warehouse.

Nelsons has invested in an electronic scan system which senses fork lift movement at all entrances/exits of the Nelsons warehouse's and gives a load hoot to warn pedestrians and other vehicles of the fork lifts movements.

Signs with all site instructions and warnings are laid out in a clear manor and are highly visible throughout the site, these include 10mph speed limit and No Smoking in the offices or the Warehouse.

Warehouse
We have two Warehouses dedicated to keeping all packaging in pristine conditions totaling some 30,000 square feet. The Warehouses are split between industrial and food packaging. We have five forklifts always ensuring goods can be loaded and unloaded.

Transport
We have our own dedicated fleet of Vehicles, Sign written carrying the distinctive red white black flag ship logo of Nelsons. Added to this they all carry Box number plates ensuing we are recognised wherever we go!!

The fleet includes 7.5 and 17.5 tonne Lorries and long wheel base transit vans... sometimes the M.D.'s Hurst... Sorry I mean 4x4 is used much to his disgust.
