We have a team of internal staff covering sales, purchasing, accounts and design at our head office in The Woodlands. (They are hard-working – but don’t tell them I said that.) Within the office base we have a meeting room that is designed as an area in which meetings can be held in comfortable surroundings free from external distractions. There is also a display room showing some of the vast range of products that we supply.
Warehouse
We recently moved into our new warehouse totalling some 50,000 square feet and capable of holding up to 12,000 pallets. It is dedicated to keeping all packaging in pristine condition. The warehouse is split between industrial packaging and food packaging. We have five forklifts to ensure that goods can be loaded and unloaded as required.
Transport
We have our own dedicated fleet of vehicles, sign-written and carrying the distinctive red/white/black flagship logo of Nelsons. Added to this they all carry “BOX” number plates ensuring we are recognised wherever we go!!
The fleet includes 7.5 and 17.5 tonne lorries and long-wheelbase transit vans. Sometimes the MD’s hearse (Sorry! I mean 4x4) is used, much to his disgust.
