Webster’s Cycle Race Team
Nelsons has sponsored Webster’s Cycle Race Team for the last couple of years. The team is active locally, nationally and internationally, both competing in and winning many events. George Atkins, the team’s leading rider, recently became National Road Race Champion and is in the 2012 Olympic Development Squad.
Beeston Hockey Club (National Hockey League Club)
Nelsons sponsored the shirts of the Beeston Under-15’s men’s hockey team. It had several local players in the side and became national champion in 2005 beating Canterbury 2-0 in a hard-fought final.
Coalville Rugby Club
Nelsons has sponsored Coalville under 12's 13's 14's for the past few seasons. This period saw the under 14's win a County Cup Competition.

Mountsorrel Bedouins Mixed Hockey Club
Nelsons is a sponsor of Bedouins Hockey Club. Bedouins fields three mixed teams and has a healthy development programme for children. Bedouins was runner-up in Division 1 of the 2004/5 season. The first team was the winner of the Leicestershire 7s’ tournament with the second team finishing second thus showing the strength and depth of this successful local club.

Nelsons was match-ball sponsor of a recent Leicester City v Sunderland match. Sunderland won 1-0 to the satisfaction of our sad MD who supports Sunderland!!
