Nelsons is a sponsor of Bedouins Hockey Club. Bedouins field three mixed teams and has a healthy children's development program. Bedouins were runners up in Division 1 of the 2004/5 season. Beeston Hockey Club (National Hockey League Club).
Nelsons Sponsored the Shirts of the Beeston under 15's men's hockey Team. They had several local players in the side and became national Champions in 2005 beating Canterbury 2-0 in a hard fought final. http://www.beestonhockeyclub.com

Nelsons were Match Ball Sponsors of the Leicester City vs. Sunderland Match last Season. Sunderland won 1-0 to the satisfaction of our sad M. D. who supports Sunderland!!
